Timmy Update: Day 3

Tim is still biding his time in SCBU and we are thrilled to report that he is progressing all the time. He appears to be comfortable, reminding me of The Very Hungry Caterpillar as he lies on his stomach, his tiny bottom sticking out in the air and his little body and head stretching out every now and then, as if he’s inching his way along like the little bugs do.

Tim is now off antibiotics and out from under the bili lamp. He is being tube-fed 4mls of milk hourly. If he manages to keep it down it will be increased. His oxygen supply has been gradually lowered, decreasing from 35 to 28 since last night. Progress is slow but steady. Hopefully it will continue!
