Okay, so I will admit it, I do love buttery pasta. It is right up there with a love of cheese (all kinds, I don’t mind), ice-cream (all kinds, I don’t mind), and chocolate (all kinds, I don’t… oh, you get the picture).
I do love this meal too. It’s a great lifesaver when you’ve been out for the day and everyone is hungry but you need something on the table in minutes. With quick and easy dishes like this, you can always have a meal ready even when you’re pushed for time. Even better, it’s very cheap to make too.
Ingredients:
(serves 6)
500g Bertollini Pasta
100g Bertolli with Butter
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp tomato puree
Method:
Boil the pasta in a pan of boiling, salted water.
The Bertollini pasta only takes about three minutes to cook so in the meantime, finely chop the garlic cloves.
Once the pasta is cooked remove from heat and drain.
Return the pan to the stove and melt the Bertolli with Butter until melted.
Once melted, add the tomato puree, oregano, garlic and stir into the melted butter well.
Finally, add the pasta and toss well ensuring it is all coated with the butter mixture.
Serve.
