If there’s one thing we have had a lot of experience with, it’s buying baby toys that are affordable and adorable. As well as toys, we’re also huge fans of reading. When you combine baby toys, and one of our most-loved children’s authors, the result is sure to be fantastic.
That’s exactly what happened with Rainbow Designs. They have a developmental elephant with the theme of Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Tim is nearing nine months, so he’s already begun taking in his surroundings and trying to get into everything, so this elephant is perfect for giving him more to explore.
There are noises such as squeaking, rattling, and crinkling, as well as different textures and objects such as oversized buttons, and even a mirror. Another addition on the elephant are the teething rings in different shapes, which are fabulous as Tim has two bottom teeth already, and many more to come.
It’s the toy he automatically reaches for when he spots it, no matter how far out of his reach it is. He loves it so much that he’ll happily play with it for ages.
The elephant a good size too at 35cm, so it’s a great present no matter how young the baby is, and is safe from birth. It can double as an accessory on a crib, as it has a handy hook.
Rainbow Designs do a whole range of toys based on favourite characters, such as Paddington Bear and Peter Rabbit. Of course, there are other The World of Eric Carle toys, it’s not just limited to this lovely elephant. You’ll definitely find something you love, and for a brilliant price too!
