Review: Shout!

Shout!

If you’re looking for something to keep the kids (and the grown-ups!) occupied and entertained this winter, Shout! by Drumond Park will hit the nail on the head. There are almost 3,000 challenges in total, with 18 on each of the 167 double sided cards – it will definitely keep everyone  busy for an hour or so!

It tests the mind in the weirdest and quirkiest ways possible, and you have to put your brain to full use when deciding what the answer to the puzzle is. For example, on the Abba Songs card, there is a photo of Martin Luther King, and you have to make the link between the two (I Have a Dream).

It’s extremely entertaining, hilarious, somewhat chaotic, and very addictive. It’s simple to understand, and requires team effort which is a great way to get the entire family involved. Teams can be split into older or younger generations, or a mix, as there’s something for everyone. You have 60 seconds to correctly guess, and the first team to reach 69 points wins! If you want to make the game last longer, extend it to 99 points.

It’s yet another brilliant Drumond Park game, perfect for Christmas and birthdays, or even for no occasion at all! We loved it, as you become so desperate for the points that the answers thrown out get more and more random and entertaining. They may be worth writing down, as they’ll provide amusing stories for years to come!

Drumond Park says the game is perfect for people aged 12 and up, but as long as you have an older player on the team we saw no reason why even the four year olds and up couldn’t get involved too.

Shout! (£29.99) is available to buy from all good retailers including Amazon. For a full list of stockists, visit the Drumond Park website here.
