Sew, a needle pulling thread… the large family way!

Eddie is our resident crafter. He always has several projects on the go and his creativity and imagination knows no bounds. This morning he set about making himself an eye mask.

Eddie soon got to work with measuring, cutting and sewing…

 

As with pretty much anything in this house, curious siblings quickly gathered to see what was going on and whether they could join in too…

 

Paddy wanted to make his own eye mask too. Apparently, Ollie keeps him awake at bedtime so he *needs* one...

With two of the boys settled with fabric, needle and thread along came the girls to practise their sewing skills too…

Even though they are only two-years-old, the twins take sewing very seriously…

 

... while Anna prefers sewing in comfort on the sofa...

With four-year-old Ollie now sewing at her side, even Isobel proves that you’re never too young to learn a new skill…

And soon enough they celebrate a job well done…

Hopefully they’ll be keen for an early bedtime tonight! 😉

What started as a single child activity ended up a six kid gathering.
