Forget store bought glass and window cleaning sprays. You can make your own with just two ingredients at a fraction of the cost. A 50 pence bottle of distilled vinegar makes almost four batches of this glass cleaning mixture, resulting in each batch costing little over 12 pence a bottle. That’s a big saving on the shop version and it works just as well!
Ingredients:
150ml Distilled White Vinegar
350ml cold water
Method:
Pour the vinegar into a 500ml trigger spray bottle. Amazon sell a selection very cheaply. Make sure the bottle is labelled clearly and stored out of the reach of children.
Add 350ml cold water.
That’s it! You can now spray on your windows and mirrors as you would any other glass cleaning product.
You can add a drop or two of essential oil if you want to mask the vinegar smell, but rest assured that the smell disappears once it dries anyway.
