Working from home with a house full of children

I’ve worked from home for several years now.  Not always doing the same thing but there has always been typing and a computer involved somewhere.

I am used to working with toddlers around my ankles, children playing with toy cars around my feet and kids sitting beside me, behind me or in some close proximity to me most of the time.

I can ignore the surrounding noise when I need to and snap into action when an emergency occurs.  Usually the emergency consists of a fight over who took a toy from someone or who needs their nappy changing because the stench is really quite not very nice, Mummy.

But one of the most perfected techniques is typing with a baby sleeping on my lap and across my left arm.

And I’m still hitting 70 words per minute 🙂

With kids?

No problem!
