I logged into blogger to record the sound of relative silence. One child having their morning nap, one child baking shortbread biscuits and four other children playing together quietly in the playroom.
By the time I’d logged in however, normality resumed.
But I just wanted to record that at 9.27am, on August 10th, 2010, it was peaceful here.
Wow! Silence is definitely blogworthy! LOL! Right now, I have one daughter nagging me to let her make some more toast. Another daughter is screaming and fighting with her brother. One boy is trying to climb up my glass shelves that have all the breakable stuff on them, and two of my teenagers are upstairs in their room listening to music loudly while reading.
Silence is defeaning, isn't it? Cheers to moments like that.
