Review: Wild City Book

Fiona Danks and Jo Schofield are back with the Wild City Book, and after we had been impressed by their Wild Weather Book, we had to read it. It was just as good and maybe even better.

If you live in a city, it’s hard to make the most of nicer days when you’re surrounded by dangerous cars, and there’s only so many times that you can take the kids to the same park they’d been to three times in a week already. The Wild City Book gives fun ideas for activities which you can do outside and in, with things that you can find around the house or in the environment that surrounds you.

Wild Pictures only need card, tape or glue, and various plants and flowers. Personally, we love the Conker and Pine Cone Creatures, and now we’re all dying for autumn to come so we can hold competitions on making the craziest (and best) looking pine cone person! It’s full of ideas which we found fantastic, whether you live in a city or not.

Whether it’s a traditional game of hopscotch or an obstacle course that you fancy, or maybe an indoor activity for the colder days, the Wild City Book has it all.

You can purchase your own Wild City Book (RRP: £9.99) and other Going Wild books written by Jo and Fiona from Amazon here.
