We are now more than 23 weeks into this pregnancy and it seems like we are a world away from the first trimester. It seems so long ago since I pulled up the due date calculator which then prompted me to break the news to Mike by texting him the date 02/12/2012. Nothing else was in the text – only that.
Mike, realising what a text containing a date alone meant, and knowing that baby would be delivered by caesarean and consequently arriving earlier than its due date text back: “We needed a November one!”
Then we simultaneously sent texts to each other both saying the same thing.
“Or two!”
With the days of early pregnancy well and truly behind us we find ourselves more than halfway through the second trimester already.
I have been feeling incredibly well throughout this pregnancy. All check ups have been straightforward with nothing to report. It didn’t stop me experiencing my usual worries as we approached our anomaly scan last week though.
Thankfully, we had nothing to worry about.
