This is just a quick update for those if you who are not yet following on our Facebook page or Twitter. The appointment yesterday didn’t quite go to plan. My consultant was concerned that my breathlessness/dizziness/headaches might be caused by blood clots in my lungs. I was allowed to go home to eat dinner and grab a bag of my things before coming back to be admitted.
I had a blood thinning injection late last night in order to break down any clots that might be there. I am booked in for a scan at dome point today which will hopefully rule out any problems. It’s a little scary but I’m hoping everything will be ok and that I will be home later today.
