Larger Family Life visits Disneyland Paris – Part 2

Despite the early 4am start and not sleeping on the entire journey the kids were eager and willing to get to the park as soon as possible. We dumped our stuff, ate a little something to keep us going and headed off.

The Disneyland Parks were only a ten minute drive from the Davy Crockett Ranch. The roads were clear and as we saw the castle loom into view the excitement increased.

There weren’t many crowds as by the time we got there it was about 4.30pm.  Mind you, March was a great time to go as the crowds were still minimal during the week (compared to school holidays and weekends).

No sooner did we arrive than it was time for the first parade!   The first of many we would see that week.

We did a lot during the rest of the week.  There were the rides to discover.  Spinning rides and whizzing rides and rides through the air and rides on the ground…
A ride on the water aboard the Mark Twain paddle steamer…
And a ride in the sky on the PanoraMagique Balloon.
We saw it…
We boarded it…
We floated off in it…
And we landed, (eventually) in it…
We ate…
Watched a fantastic stunt show! Honestly, do not miss this.  It was so much fun and the event was made even more joyous for me when one of my childhood heroes appeared… Herbie!
A meeting with another hero…
And comparing handprints with him too…
Making new friends…
And revisiting our childhood… which isn’t going very far back when you’re only five…
So much to see and do…
Until…
…you’re too tired…
… to do anything…
…else…
Anything else…
… at all…
Until we hopefully return again one day.
Good bye Disneyland Paris!

Thank you for a wonderful time!
