Take To The Ski Slopes For Your Bachelor Party

You can go to Vegas and hit the casinos and strip joints any time. It’s hardly worth it to go for a bachelor party.

Time for something unique instead of the typical. And a great way to send off your soon to be taken friend is with a trip to the mountains. I’m talking about going for a ski weekend.

You’ll have plenty of time to drink and eat and at the same time get the adrenaline pumping. Hit the slopes and then do your thing apres ski and you’ll have a bachelor party to remember.

Stock up on some custom flasks for the groomsmen from the Groomsshop and book your winter bachelor party at your favorite slopes.

Pick a location

Ski the East, the Rockies or Canada. There are more ski destinations than you probably realize so you have some options.

There are a few things to consider when picking your resort.

Colorado has some of the best skiing in the US, but is also very pricey. The slopes are also located quite a distance from the airport in Denver so be ready to drive for a bit. Not to mention that the weather can be unpredictable in the Rockies.

The resorts are top notch, however and lend themselves very well to those that want some luxury since it is a special occasion.

The East has some really nice spots to ski in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. And they generally cost a fraction of what you would spend in Colorado. If you are more of the hippy variety, then Vermont ski resorts are a great bet as they have a super laid back vibe. Northern Maine has some slopes that can compete with some of the other more famous resorts in the West.

Canada has Whistler which is one of the best places to ski in North America. The problem is that it is expensive and if you are south of the border, require more planning.

Where to stay

Staying on the mountain is really the best way to go. You can hit the slopes with very little planning and really maximize the time you spend on the powder. The problem is that they can be expensive and how hard you can party depends highly on the venue. Some places will allow some noise, but if you plan to really go wild, you might find yourselves on notice.

Airbnb off slope is not a bad way to go and you can have a place to yourselves. If you really want to let it rip then this may be your best option. The problem is that you’ll have to always be traveling to the mountain to ski.

Balance it out

You may be gung ho about being on the slopes all day but make sure you don’t expect everybody to keep up. Some guys are more about the apres ski and like hanging in the lodge with a drink. Make sure everybody is able to do their thing.
