It’s that time of year again, the time when Lord’s Cricket Ground opens its doors to an evening of entertainment for the whole family.
Mike took a handful of the children along the the T20 Blast a few years ago and the kids enjoyed it immensely, so much so that they are still talking about it and remember it. The photo above is from then – look how small they are! To say they are excited about going again next week is an understatement and frankly, given how happily they returned home last time, I can’t say I blame them.
As well as the Middlesex v Hampshire NatWest T20 Blast fixture to watch and cheer on, kids get to join in with some bowling speed fun, a virtual reality unit, balloon modellers, face painters and cricket taster sessions. There’s also fun at the fair to enjoy but don’t forget hairy headbands and foam fingers – this is the part Eddie is looking forward to most… again! In fact, you can read what they got up to last time over on Mike’s post about the evening here.
Lord’s Family Night takes place on Thursday 3rd August and with adult tickets at £20 and under-16s at only £5, it is the perfect family event this summer and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Click over to lords.org/familynight for more information and to purchase tickets.
If this gives your family the taste for more cricket fun, don’t miss the remaining NatWest T20 Blast fixtures this summer at Lord’s Cricket Ground which are:
