Today is the day all 16 year olds have been waiting for with a mixture of dread and anticipation. In fact, it’s a similar mix of feelings for the parents too, I think.
GCSE results day.
For those of you unfamiliar with them, these are the final results for the end of compulsory education here in the UK. Your future plans of attending college and then possibly university, or getting the job of your dreams start here.
Steph needs a minimum of five passes from A*-C to be able to do the courses she wants in college. She already has two GCSE’s under her belt of Maths at a B, and IT at C.
I’ve told her I expect A*’s for the rest.
She lol’ed.
