Sid has got the co-ordination of summer outfits down to a tee.
This is the style of 2009, in case you didn’t know.
First we have shorts…
… the the t-shirt…
… and finally…
Yes. It’s the winter hat.
Got that?
Shorts…
Shirt…
Winter hat…
One morning last week I was busy in the kitchen finishing off preparing the evening’s meal.
I heard Sid go into the downstairs shower room and then the toilet flushed.
Rushing to finish off the meal in order to get started on lunch for everyone I answered Sid with an “Oh dear!” when he told me his hat had fallen.
Turning around with a tray of macaroni cheese I was faced with Sid standing in the middle of the kitchen, wooly hat on his head and water dripping down his face.
“Sid, did you mean that your hat fell into the toilet?!”
“Uh-huh!” he nodded with a grin, with water trickling down his face in tiny streams.
“Oh no! You’ve got germs all over your head now! We have to stick you in the shower!” I exclaimed, while I hurried off to gather a bathtowel and change of clothes for him.
With water still running down over his face and soaking his shirt he replied, “But it’s clean water in the toilet!”
Heheheh!
From SITS 😀
Love the smile at the accomplishment.

Boys are soooo funny! Mine have been wearing all kinds of long sleeve and long leg pants this week–two have poison ivy. One even came downstairs in an elephant costume! The next day, he came down in his Darth Vader outfit. I was releaved that the next day, he came down as himself. I love how boys accessorize their fashion statement!
For some reason that just doesn't surprise me!!LOL Maybe it's because my three boys are now all in their 20's and I think I've heard it all….and then some that I didn't want to hear!!! 😉 Very handsome boy modeling his winter hat!
That's a GREAT story 😉
Oh man! I have not had to deal with an issue like this, yet… *knocking on wood*. My 3 girls are too freaked out by the toilet (if anything falls in it – they come crying to me instead of fishing it out themselves – and my 2-yr-old boy is still very carefully watched when he is near it. But I am sure it is coming! However, I have "digging in diapers" horror stories – and I do mean HORROR! Maybe someday I will muster up the courage to post one of them.
BTW – thanks so much for stopping by my blog. 🙂 Hope you have a great day!
That's so funny!
That's gross and funny at the same time. LOL I love that hat, it's no wonder he likes wearing it. It's so cute!!
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy….
AHH, oh my. Two out of three isn't bad, right?? lol

too funny!
HAHA! oh what a gem of a boy you have there. That was sooooo cute… clean water in the toilet! *snicker*
I love the outfit combo…and why not, eh?! 😀
Kids are awesome. Just so cool sometimes, seriously. Monkey (who is 5) loves to dress himself in pajama pants, jackets, and sandals. No shirt either. 🙂
