We stagger the younger children’s bedtimes. Paddy, being the second youngest after the baby, goes to bed at 6.45pm. Sid follows at 7pm, then Eddie and Harry go off at 7.30pm.
One evening last week, just after taking Harry and Eddie up, Mike came downstairs.
“Have you seen Sid?” he asked me, and beckoned me to go upstairs.
I peeked into his room and saw Sid fast asleep in his bed.
And this…
It seems he had a productive time hanging stuffed toys from the above his bunk bed. Now, the monkey looks quite cool but…
Look at her!!
Please don’t try and tell me that she’s enjoying that. Doesn’t it look like toy torture? Kind of reminds me of…
…Sid from Toy Story.
Must be the name!

One of my absolute favorite parts of being a mom is discovering how they spent their time when we weren't looking.

This is hilarious! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has found their child's toys in weird places/positions. I have a sudden strong urge to watch Toy Story now…

That is so cute. Someone was busy. Thanks for stopping by my blog and your kind words. I am a first time visitor but will definitely be back.
That's so funny!
HOOT!!! That is just precious! Glad you took photos! I have one of my oldest (then about 3) with about 5 of her stuffed animals laid out on the floor in a line with cloth diapers on. There at the end of the line are the twins (then about 6 weeks old). Priceless! I don't know what made me think of that. Something about the critters in "unnatural" poses!!! lol
I just clicked over here from SITS and intend to be clicking around for awhile. Glad I stumbled upon your blog!
Have a blessed day!
This is EXACTLY what my 3 year old has been doing. She ties them with string and hangs them up. It's a bit disturbing…
Funny!!!!!! Thanks for the visit today!

Returning the SITS comment luv!
that is so cute….kids do the most random things. today i found fake cookies, a cell phone, a carrot, and toy thermometer in my 2-yr-old's "purse." She packed it up and said "bye mommy." Great packing job.
