I don’t even know that it’s a proper word. All I know is that there is no other word that even comes close to describing how I’m feeling at the moment. Me and half the family.
It all began with Caitlin just over a week ago, and has since been making its way through the household.
Thursday evening resulted in an emergency trip to the surgery with Caitlin who by now had developed an ear infection. I was by this time feeling considerably under the weather and now the younger ones are all succumbing to this sore throat, sore ears, sore head, sore nose and diving/soaring temperature thing and boy, it’s a clinger. Not only do you fall with it, it drags on for aaaaages. The only one so far to escape is Mike. We’ll put that right soon, I’m sure.
So, I’m sitting here with a hot cup of tea and a pounding head, thinking that I ought to explain my absence the last couple of days. Because I know you’ll have missed me.
And you have, haven’t you?
I have missed you Tania.
If I lived near you, I would bring you round home made chicken soup.
That’s so kind of you, Sandra. But you then be offended if I asked for vegetable or lentil or something else? I don’t eat chicken!
Tania
I have missed you too–gettin a little tired of that snowman porn everytime I stop by 😀
Feel better soon–take extra care of yourself! It’s the season here for those little oranges that peel like a breeze called Clementines…THATS what I would bring–and some boxes of tissues with mentholated lotion on them!
Ugh, My sympathies..no empathy: I’ve got the same thing. So I will hoist my cuppa joe to you this morning (it’s joe not tea as well, I’m american and that’s what we do more often, and it’s gonna be a busy day, no time for sick..bleurgh) and say a prayer for you to feel better. And soon! “tis also the season for this
Ugh! Hope you’re all better soon!
