With Christmas so close we have all of our main presents bought and wrapped and he only thing left to get now are the stocking stuffers. Depending on the person and their age the contents of the stockings can vary. For example, while we might get the younger ones small teddies, the older ones who have moved out and don’t get to see the family very often might receive a photo book instead.
Snapfish are a company you have probably heard of before, known for printing your pictures on everything from keyrings to mugs.
Our living room is dotted with photos of the family, including this feature wall made from plates – and despite us saying back then something about how Isobel (12 o’clock) would have a real photo as opposed to a 4D scan in about a month we never actually got around to changing it. Bel is now three years old and has her own little brother so we thought we should probably update her photo sometime soon. As well as updating her image we ordered a couple of canvases with different members of the family: one of all of the girls and the other of Ben, Libby, Anna, Sid and Tim. Unfortunately we don’t have one of the entire family or of all of the kids but if we manage to snap one this Christmas we’ll be straight on the Snapfish site to get another canvas made!
The process is quite easy and the site is simple to navigate. You can upload a single photo or several at a time and see how it looks within any of the options on the site, be it a photo book, coasters or mug. Hi-resolution images should be used or you might find problems with the clarity of the image once printed. Once you’ve chosen your photos and selected the project on which they’ll appear, simply complete the straightforward checkout process and wait for your order. You’ll be regularly updated as to its status and delivery is quick too so perfect if you’re looking for a personal gift at short notice. The only thing that I wasn’t too convinced by was the postage costs. I returned to order some black and white prints and the postage far exceeded the cost of the prints themselves.
Having said that, if you’re struggling to think of stocking fillers we’d recommend you head over to Snapfish and take a look around. There’s something for everyone and a range of ideas to choose from, from personalised photo mugs to calendars – and best of all, the products themselves are not overpriced, making for a fantastic Christmas for everyone!
