Since starting the Tractor Ted and Tractorland enterprise in 2005, Alexandra Heard and David Horler have continued to add to the original video which kicked the whole thing off.
Using real life people and footage, the aim of introducing Tractor Ted was to explain, encourage and teach children all about animals and farming. The range of products has allowed farming to become a real part of life even for children who can’t experience country life themselves.
From learning how food is grown and harvested, to caring for farm animals, Tractor Ted provides an invaluable education in a fun and interesting way.
The Tractor Ted range has increased even further with the introduction of More Big Machines, a brand new DVD which teaches us all about Pea Harvesters, ploughs and seed drills and the Tractor Ted Activity Book which is jam-packed with counting, colouring fun using bright, colourful photos of the farm.
