A clean home is a happy home

How to create a family friendly home

If you have young children you may believe that getting a stair gate and ensuring that all cupboards are secure using a child lock is all you need to create a family friendly home. Although these are important and play a vital role in keeping your children safe, there is something more pressing – bacteria.

Bacteria is all around us, but there are ways of preventing it from spreading. Germs and bacteria can manifest and cause illness making infections like the common cold rife within the home. However, being mindful of the cleaning products that you use and being aware of where those dirty little hands go will help you to prevent the germs from spreading and create a happy home for the family to live in.

There are two rooms in particular where the family congregate and to help promote wellbeing and a happy atmosphere cleaning is imperative. We all know that a clean home is a happy home; everyone wants to spend time in an area that is sparkling and smells fresh. So how can we guarantee the family will enjoy spending time in these rooms?

The kitchen and the bathroom are areas in which we often spend more time than we might think. However, these rooms tend to be the central hubs for bacteria to grow, making them the first place in which you should begin battling the bacteria. As you are keeping one eye on the children and another on the areas you’re cleaning, one product that is suitable for a range of surfaces is desirable. After all you don’t want to spend all your time cleaning when there is so much you can do with the children.

For the kitchen we recommend Mr Muscle Kitchen Cleaner as it can be used on sinks, tiles, work tops and the cooker. It can cut through the toughest of stains and grease, possesses an anti-bacteria aid and leaves your kitchen smelling of citrus. With this multi-purpose and fast-acting kitchen spray you will have all the time in the world to spend with your children.

When it comes to the bathroom you can find bacteria in the sink, around the shower basin, in the bath tub plughole and of course the toilet. There is a lot to combat and unfortunately one product can’t win the war against all these forms of bacteria. However, these two just might:

  • ScaleIT – Sanitary Cleaner/Descaler – use neat to clean the toilet or diluted for general bathroom cleaning
  • Cream Cleaner – Lemon fragranced – use on sinks, taps and surfaces. Not only will this leave a shine, but it will also create a citrus and fresh smelling bathroom

Having a home that is clean and smelling great instantly puts the family in a good mood. Always have a happy home with our tips above.
