We hadn’t heard about the Diary of a Wimpy Kid at all until we received this game to try out. I was thinking that perhaps we would find it awkward or difficult to play given that we knew absolutely nothing regarding about it. Would you need to answer DofWK questions? Or have a knowledge of little known facts that only real fans would know?
As it turns out I need not have worried.
The Diary of a Wimpy Kid board game is suitable for 3-6 players aged eight upwards and is the ideal opportunity to see how much you know about them – or they know about you!
With questions like ‘Has your cousin ever peed in a swimming pool?’ it is a game of light-hearted laughs and enjoyment. My initial concerns that we wouldn’t be able to play if we didn’t know anything about Diary of the Wimpy Kid were unfounded. You don’t need to know anything about it! It’s just about having fun!
There aren’t really any right or wrong answers either, so not in the big leagues of dramatic competitiveness at all, but simply providing a fun, giggle-filled evening of entertainment to add to your family games night.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Paul Lamond Games is available from all good sellers including Amazon now.
