How Morrisons can help you save on fuel every time

Morrisons are helping shoppers to save on fuel every time they shop with the new Morrisons Fuel Saver scheme.  In fact, you need never pay full price for fuel again!

Every time you buy a gift card at Morrisons for any of the participating 34 retailers they will issue you with a voucher for a penny off at the pump for every £10 of vouchers you buy.  Spend £50 on gift vouchers which you can then give as a present or spend yourself at any of the stores and you will save 5 pence a litre on your fuel!  With the average fuel prices hitting £1.38 a litre or £1.42 for diesel it really is a case of making every penny count.

Let’s work it out.  If you buy a £30 gift for someone else or to spend on yourself at Boots you will receive a voucher for 3p off per litre of fuel.  If you fill up your car with 60 litres you will have saved £1.80 over all.

If you need to make a bigger purchase, say a new oven from Homebase for example, you can purchase £500 of Homebase vouchers from Morrisons which will then give you 50p per litre off your fuel giving you a saving of £30 off when you fill up 60 litres.

I think that this could be a very valuable offer especially with the extra purchases we’ll be making with Christmas around the corner even if it does seem that a little to-ing and fro-ing is needed. I know how I always gasp when I see that fuel has risen another two pence, so knowing that a purchase of £100 of gift cards which I can either give as presents or use on essentials for the family will save me 10 pence per litre is not something I’ll be ignoring.  That is a lot of money saved!  And that makes me happy!
