Drumond Park Games are releasing several new games in September and one of them is Foooz!
We’ve been lucky enough to get our hands on a set and after extensive research and experimentation (i.e playing and the odd attempt at cheating) we can give you our verdict.
Foooz (rrp.£19.99) is a tabletop football game designed with younger players in mind. The set comprises of two figures, clickable boots, stickers, a football and goals.
The figures are chunky and solid making them perfectly suitable for small hands and younger players who don’t quite yet have the dexterity required to play other kinds of tabletop football games. Each figure can be fully customised with the stickers provided in the set and they can play with our without their boots which click on and off easily.
The game is simple. Hold onto your freestanding footballer and twist and turn him to dribble, shoot and score against your opponent. The winner, of course, is the player to score the most goals!
The children found this game a lot of fun to play. The rules are simple enough for even the very young members of the family to follow (although the game is recommended for ages five and up) and the figures are chunky and durable to withstand their varying degrees of competitiveness too!
Foooz is not available until September but you can be one of the first to own a set in our competition. We have two sets up for grabs. For your chance to win click over to our Foooz competition now.
