It’s just gone 6am on Friday morning and I’m sitting here taking gulps of steaming coffee whilst I type this post.
What I really ought to be doing is tidying up this huge mess called my house.
I have a bunch of prizes and reviews piled up on my desk.
I have notes, scrawls and scribbles on three different pads and I have my 9 to 5 DVD still in its wrapping waiting for me to take an evening off working on the site so Cait and I can have a girly night to watch it. Yes, it’s the original eighties film with Miss Dolly Parton. No, I’m not embarrassed at all to admit it!
There are toys, oh – everywhere.
There are two loads of laundry on the kitchen table waiting patiently for me to fold and put away and the dishwasher isn’t working so there is also a pile of washing up to do.
So I’m going now. I’m going to make a start and hopefully it will all be done and I’ll have got myself out of my pyjamas and all made up and ready in time for 9am when the local radio station is arriving for an interview.
And if I haven’t managed to get the house sorted and make myself half decent there is always the consolation that it is radio and not television after all!
