A team of soldiers, a 7300km distance and a physical challenge for Oliver

A team of soldiers based in Bicester have got together to organise a 7,000km physical challenge to raise money to Help Oliver Walk.

Meet Stuart…

Whilst many of us were still pondering how we could raise cash for Oliver on his Facebook group, Stuart had already begun organising a challenge to get the money rolling in.

Stuart and a team of soldiers…

… have planned to run…

… cycle…

… swim and row (please avert your eyes if images of partial nudity offend)

… the distance between Camp Bastion in Afghanistan to Oliver’s home in Bicester.

The soldiers plan to complete their challenge which will cover more than 7,300km between April 1st and 31st July using mostly gym machines.  The final leg will take place on 31st July 2012 leaving from RAF Brize Norton and finishing at Ambrosden.

They have set a goal to raise a whopping £5,000 for Oliver through this physical feat.

You can donate to the team of soldiers the Bastion to Bicester Facebook fundraising page and you can keep up with their progress and offer your support on the Bastion to Bicester Facebook group as well as on Twitter with the handle @BSNtoBIC.

Please do offer these guys your support and sponsor this challenge.  Oliver would appreciate it!
